Exam building, marking and student report cards
Exams are built from a question bank with a blueprint, objective sections are marked automatically and writing is marked against a rubric, and the report card with a score per skill goes to the student portal.
The MetaLingo exams and marking module is the assessment cycle: a question bank tagged by skill and syllabus point, an exam blueprint (skill × syllabus point × marks), online or paper exams, automatic marking of objective items, teacher marking of writing and speaking against a rubric with an AI draft the teacher approves, and a report card with a score per skill.

Questions we hear a lot
Is the AI writing score final?
No. The AI draft follows the school's rubric and the teacher reviews and approves it; speaking is never marked automatically.
Are paper exams supported?
Yes. The paper is printed and scores are entered against the same blueprint.
